Most parishes offer “Catholic Inquiry,” a faith formation process, from September through November. You’re invited to learn about Catholic traditions: theology, spirituality, worship, and forming community. There is no pressure to become Catholic.

Inquiry was formed in the earliest centuries of the Church for adults, who might want to be baptized. In modern times, Inquiry also welcomes adults baptized in other Christian denominations. Baptized Catholics, who have had little connection with the Church, are welcomed to prepare to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, which completes baptism.

Inquiry isn’t adult faith education for practicing Catholics,

but some of them serve on a hospitality team.
